The positioner, capable of handling a payload of 350 kg, is crucial for orienting the workpiece precisely, allowing for optimal access and manipulation during welding processes.

The Cold Metal Transfer (CMT) technology by Fronius uses pulsed current to control the transfer of droplets during welding. This method is particularly advantageous for welding thin materials and dissimilar metals, reducing heat input and distortion while producing high-quality welds with minimal spatter. The Motoman SSF6 is an industrial robot designed for arc welding applications. It’s known for its precision, speed, and reliability in welding processes. The SSF6 model specifically offers high-performance arc welding capabilities, with features optimized for efficiency and accuracy in various welding tasks.

Motoman NX100 Controller:

PC-based high-performance robot controller.

Windows CE programming pendant with a full-color LCD touchscreen display.

High-speed processing.

Large memory capacity (60,000 steps, 10,000 instructions).

Built-in Ethernet for communication.

Can control up to four robots and external axes (max 36 axes) and I/O devices.

Advanced Robot Motion Control (ARM) for high-performance path accuracy and motion control.

PC architecture allows unlimited communication with other systems via various communication protocols.

Integrated PLC

Positioner with the payload of 350 kg

CMT (Cold Metal Transfer) uses a pulsed current to precisely control the transfer of droplets from the electrode to the weld joint. It is used for welding thin materials or joining dissimilar metals where heat control is crucial to prevent warping or distortion. The CMT  produces high-quality welds with minimal spatter, reduced heat input, and less distortion compared to traditional welding methods. It’s particularly effective for welding aluminum and other non-ferrous metals.
